Celebrating IWD 2024

As we celebrate International Women's Day 2024 today, the LatStudios team is very proud to have over 55% female representation across our practice.

In the light of the recent Workplace Gender Equity Agency report that highlights significant gender wage gaps, including across companies in the professional sector, it is significant that female representation at LatStudios extends to upper management and ownership. Three of our five board members are women: Directors, Nathalie Ward (AILA FRLA), Amanda Roberts (AILA RLA, MPIA) and Wendy Davies (AILA FRLA, CMLI), pictured below with Practice Director Kate Songhurst (AILA FRLA).

Over the last year, we have also welcomed five incredible women to our team: Celestine Leong, Kylie Henderson, Serena Salvi, Akala Stumkat & Marina Couchman.

We are thankful for our fantastic collaborative team of designers and technical staff, both male and female, across our Melbourne and Brisbane studios. Collectively they bring a broad range of backgrounds, study pathways and insights that benefit each of our projects and, we believe, drive more inclusive outcomes for our communities.⁠
