CoPP endorses Housing Strategy

The idea of creating and enhancing valued neighbourhood character is not mutually exclusive to the imperative of delivering increased housing.

LatStudios assisted Council by undertaking extensive, quantifiable research on the physical attributes of neighbourhoods that contribute to their look and feel, their ‘neighbourhood character’. We then helped Council work with community and internal stakeholders to understand the preferred future characters that respond to climate change, social equity and diversity and environmentally responsible development.

We look forward to how these neighbourhoods evolve over time with the new future character statements helping guide sustainable outcomes.
