New housing precinct Gunyah approved
We loved being a part of the design team that helped our visionary client receive approval for the future community of Gunyah.
LatStudios’ Urban Designers and Landscape Architects worked closely with Marra + Yeh Architects, SJB Planning, Stellen Consulting and Dubbo Regional Council officers to help realise a plan that looks beyond the conventional approach to greenfield development.
Easy pedestrian connections to open spaces and movement corridors, Housing density that encourages walking, locating services close to homes, and a deep respect for the existing hydrology, ecology and fragility of this place on the banks of the Wambuul (Macquarie River) will provide future generations of the Dubbo community with increased housing choices and the opportunity to live sustainably in this rural city. We applaud the whole team for reaching for the stars on this one; change at this scale takes courage and we are very proud to be part of it.
