Graduate Landscape Architect

LatStudios works across the disciplines of Urban Design, Master Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Planning and Graphic Design. Our practice is evolving, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Landscape Architect to join our team.

The Landscape Architect will be a solid performer in their field with technical skills in landscape architecture. The Landscape Architect will be an integral member of the studio team and is required to work with the senior team to assist the production of high-quality proposals and projects for our clients.

The Landscape Architect will be representing the business and as such is responsible for externally relating the LatStudios culture and brand to our clients. The Landscape Architect is to contribute to the studio environment in a participative approach and as a key team member.

The Landscape Architect is required to have advanced skills in the Adobe Suite, AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite and have experience and knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards. Experience in SketchUp/3D modelling software is an advantage.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualifications in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field, with postgraduate qualifications an advantage
  • In excess of one years’ experience working in a Landscape Architectural Office
  • Have high level design and visual communication skills
  • Evidence of experience in working in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience in project delivery from concept design through development of design and production of documentation drawings and documents
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines
  • The ability to manage project involvement under the guidance of the Directors / Project Managers within budgets and time parameters
  • An informed understanding of current trends in the best practice of practice area
  • The ability to critically review their own work to achieve exceptional outcomes
  • Good client communication skills.
  • Revit experience would be advantageous but is not a requirement.
