Working for Alliance Planning, LatStudios provided inputs into the development of an outdoor recreation trails strategy for the City of Moreton Bay.
Our work included analysis of the existing network, contribution to the development of a trails network strategy and liaison with Council stakeholders.
The Recreational Trails Network Strategy (the Strategy) provides a region-wide perspective for the future provision and activation of recreational trails and associated precincts across the Moreton Bay Region, with a focus on supporting and enhancing outdoor recreation pursuits including bushwalking/trail running, horse riding and mountain biking, whilst giving due recognition to environmental and cultural sensitivities. The strategy is based on the unique opportunities presented by districts defined in the study: coastal, urban and hinterland.
