Project Details
LatStudios Director Wendy Davies was a key author for the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) Queensland Guidance Note for Landscape and Visual Assessment (GNLVA) which was developed voluntarily by members of the AILA Queensland Regional Landscapes Group.

The purpose of the GNLVA is to provide a practical framework for the practice of Landscape and Visual Assessment (including impact assessment) among Registered Landscape Architects based in Queensland or working on projects in Queensland. The GNLVA is currently being developed for use and adoption by AILA at a national level.

This guideline acknowledges the important role of Landscape Architects/Landscape Planners in this field. The contribution of the authorship team to the advancement of Landscape and Visual Assessment practice including Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) in Australia was recognised at the state and national level by AILA.
