LatStudios was supported by PSA Consulting in the preparation of the Logan City Council Streetscape Character Strategy.

The purpose of the strategy is to strengthen current planning scheme policy to ensure the delivery of high quality, high amenity streetscapes across the City of Logan, as part of the preparation of the Logan Plan 2025 (LP25).

This project demonstrates LatStudios ability to deliver tailored design solutions to meet the needs of local governments and provide robust and applicable policy and design advice to improve the public domain.

Benefits of LatStudios' strategy:

• Informed by analysis, research, Council policy and guidelines and stakeholder workshops
• Ground truthed by field survey to assess well performing and poorly performing streetscapes within the region
• Developed high level guiding principles to assist in the delivery of well-designed streetscapes across Logan
• Identifies opportunities for Council to implement with regards to well-designed streetscapes in the City of Logan and provides advice for the preparation of the Logan Plan 2025 (LP25)
• Identifies the elements of the suggested Streetscape Hierarchy Overlay code, including quantifiable measures
• Provides detailed requirements and typical drawings for sixteen streetscape typologies identified in the new Streetscape Hierarchy Overlay.
