Project Details
The Urban Waterway Corridor Guidelines aim to provide Melbourne Water with the framework necessary to approach planning and urban design decisions that concern the city’s waterways.
LatStudios were engaged by Melbourne Water to research and analyse exemplary guidelines in Australian and international contexts,conduct an in-depth review of the urban planning content and structure, develop the related urban design content and produce the graphics necessary to effectively communicate the Guidelines to a wide range of users.
The Urban Waterway Corridor Guidelines seek to promote best-practice urban design around waterways and provide the tools necessary for professionals of all disciplines to achieve urban design outcomes that protect and enhance the health of Melbourne’s waterways and their surrounding communities.
