2024 in Review: Our Team
Our growing and talented team
This year has brought growth and change to LatStudios, including new staff, promotions and a new Practice Director. The following staff were awarded promotions and professional registrations in recognition of their contributions to LatStudios and their respective professions:
- Tom Roberts was appointed to Practice Director in September.
- Kate Haughey was awarded the John Bayly Award for her thesis ‘The Genesis of Place; Exploring the essence of place-worthy protection at the Merri Creek’ as part of her Masters of Urban Planning at Melbourne University in May.
- Georgina Pratten graduated from The University of Queensland with a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management.
- Sasha Paterson graduated from Griffith University with a Graduate Certificate in Climate Change Adaptation.
- Sebastian Cocks graduated from a Masters of Landscape Architecture with Distinction from RMIT University in January.
- Nathan Merlano was promoted to Senior Landscape Architect in June.
- Stephen Orr, TJ Joseph & Georgina Pratten were promoted to Senior Associates in July.
- Nathan Merlano achieved Landscape Architect Registration from AILA in November.
- Nick Purdy achieved Architect Registration from BOAQ in December.
