During his studies, he gained valuable experience working within the landscape construction industry, working in a variety of roles from labouring to leading hand. These works included several awarded projects in the Brisbane and Ipswich areas.
Miles has a strong interest in creating unique urban environments using ecological systems that rehabilitate post-industrial sites. With an enthusiasm for the outdoors and love of the city experience, he hopes to channel these to create enjoyable public spaces. His work within the construction field has also taught him that functionality and community engagement is key to structuring and drawing out the character of the site.
